GOOD LUCK GRADE 4s!
Today we said goodbye to our Grade 4 students, wished them well on their adventures to come in Grade 5! The legacy they leave with ERS will live on in the library in a creative art project done by all grade 4 students and their teachers.
HAPPY RETIREMENT
We also said goodbye to 2 beloved teachers at ERS - Mrs. Garner & Mrs. Williamson
Thank you for your years of dedication, caring, compassion and love for all your students.

Isaline Sander
Taras Danko

Best of luck in your new adventures
GETTING READY FOR NEXT SCHOOL YEAR
We look forward to welcoming all our new Kindy Kids in the fall. Check out the Kindergarten Hub on our website for all things Kindy!
Supply lists for next year are posted on our website - 2025-2026 Supply Lists Families are encouraged to reuse items in good conditions from previous years.
With a generous donation from your ERS Parent Council, they have purchased supplies for each classroom, reducing the cost to parents. All classrooms will be supplied with rulers, pencil sharpeners, whiteboards, whiteboard markers and scissors.
For your convenience Bow Valley Basics will be selling packages of supplies and can be purchased by visiting their website https://www.bvbasics.net
LITTLE READERS
One of the most favourite places in ERS is the Library. Mme. Pascale has created a wonderful environment for our kiddos to expand their minds and imaginations, surrounded by more books than we can count.
This year our students checked out (and in and out) 20,716 books over the school year! Amazing!
THANK YOU TO THE WOLFE PACK!
We are very grateful to Wolfe Canmore for their continued generosity! Through their Keep Education Rolling promotion, for every tire swap appointment this spring, $5 was donated to support ERS (and LGMS!) Thank you to Wolfe and to the community for your continued support!
TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION FOR 2025-26 SCHOOL YEAR
For the 2025-2026 school year, all students who will be taking Canadian Rockies Public School (CRPS) bus transportation must complete an online registration form. This ensures the system has accurate, up-to-date student information. Please note: a registration form is required for each student intending to ride the school bus in the 2025-26 school year. Failure to complete the form indicates your child(ren) will not need bus service next school year.
To access the 2025-2026 School bus registration form, please follow the link to sign in to your parent portal account. Once signed in, you will click on School Engage to access the Bus Registration form.
If you require further information regarding Transportation Registration please follow the link Transportation Registration and Info.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out directly to the transportation department at crpstransportation@crps.ca.

HOST FAMILIES NEEDED FOR 2025/26
From German schnitzel to Spanish paella, hosting an international student means sharing stories over home-cooked meals - and sometimes getting treated to one yourself. Just ask the 2 local families whose Italian students didn't know each other before arriving, but quickly bonded over skiing and making pasta from scratch.
We can't promise every student is a chef, but we can promise they'll bring in fresh perspective, cultural exchange, and meaningful connection into your home. And no, you don't need kids of your own or ties to the school district to apply.
Remuneration will increase to $1375/month for the 2025/26 school year and $1475/month for 2026/27!
What do you need to provide?
A full-time home in Banff or Canmore, a private bedroom for the student, and a room in your heart for a teen aged 14-17 who wants to practice English and experience life in the Rockies. Host families are in short supply for the 2025-26 school year.
Help make someone's Canadian dream come true.
