Anxious Kids Anxious Parents
Town of Canmore FCSS, is excited to bring Lynn Lyons, licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist who specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders in children and adults, to Canmore on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. Lynn is an international speaker and trainer on the subject of anxiety, its role in families, and the need for a preventative approach in schools and at home. The Right From The Start Team is very knowledgeable about Lynn’s work and use her approach in your schools to help students better manage their anxiety.
Through CRPS, Canmore FCSS and the Right From The Start Team Lynn will present on Tuesday, October 3.

Professional Development 3:30 – 5:30pm Canmore Recreation Centre, Lady MacDonald Hall
Professional Development session for teachers and health care professionals
Evening Session 7 – 9pm Talk for teachers, parents, students (aged 13+), healthcare professionals
Lynn will discuss concrete strategies teachers and parents can use with children and teens to manage anxiety.
Lynn has co-authored two books: Anxious Kids Anxious Parents: 7 Ways to Stop the Worry Cycle and Raise Courageous & Independent Children (available inthe Canmore Library)
